Our rock, pop and indie cover band are available to play at all sorts of engagements, public and private. We are available to play at clubs, pubs and festivals. If you want to liven up your wedding or birthday party or are a company entertaining valued clients, our band can tailor our exciting show to suit your needs. We are a self contained unit and have professional equipment, including stage lighting and a PA (public address) system suitable for most clubs/pubs/functions etc. For very large performance areas a larger rig and crew can be hired if necessary, this will usually be arranged by the venue or event management company.

Info about the show:

There are three of us - electric guitar, bass and drum kit plus we are all accomplished lead vocalists. Basically we do the work of six men! We’ll kick start your party for you and have them up and dancing in no time. The Forgers are big fans of “audience participation” and WILL have you up dancing and singing along by the end of the night!

We don’t expect you to pay for a phony act; you are assured that The Forgers play 100% live. Every note you will hear is played on the spot – no backing tracks!

Volume...

We have played in living rooms at house parties, on huge outdoor festival stages and everything in between! We always adjust our volume levels to suit the venue, audience and event

Sets

We offer 2x45, 2x60, 3x30 or 3x40 minute sets. 2x45 is the most popular option and is the industry standard for function bands. Please let us know what you require, if we can accomodate you we will. 

DJ

We don't offer a full DJ service, but we can provide pre-mixed interval music (for when we're not playing) via DJ software. We have dinner jazz, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's/britpop and rock & indie and general party playlists. By far the most popular option for interval music is the client plugging their ipod/laptop/CD player etc into our speakers. This way you get to choose the songs! Let us know what works for you.

Requests

Check our set list for the hits we play. We will do our best to learn your favourite song if you let us know in advance, but please bear in mind that we will only perform a song if we think we can do it justice.

Sound

We bring our own sound rig which is loud enough for most small to medium indoor venues and garden parties/marquees etc. If you have more than 200 guests at your event then we may need to hire some additional equipment and a sound engineer for which we charge an additional fee. We are happy to discuss larger events (including outdoor festivals etc.).

Rider

We’re easily pleased! Usually we just ask for a secure place to change, warm up and store our gear, a hot meal for each band member and some still mineral water/soft drinks. If the event is a wedding/party etc, we ask that you treat us as you would any other guest – especially if the venue is in the middle of nowhere!  What's that? You'll throw in a few beers? Well, if you insist!

Insurance/electrical safety

As paid-up MU members, we are insured for Public Liability in the event of any accidents. Our equipment holds a current PAT testing certificate. We expect the same from any venue we play at.

Fees & Deposit

We don’t normally require a deposit, but we will draw up a detailed contract with you to ensure we both understand our commitments. Tell us about your event today!
